Why 21 Las Vegas Marathons?

It started with a tired and happy "Elephant" (Albert Ho) driving back to the O.C. from the Las Vegas 2005 Marathon. He had a vision that running "lucky 21" Las Vegas Marathons would keep the spark alive for the energy and new friendships developed leading up to the race. The positive response to this suggestion was immediate. Elephant and Chicago's "Lefty Flash" got plans up and running for the LVM21 Club to encourage a twenty year commitment.

Since that time our members have reported on marathons run across the continent and abroad. We share running news, advice, experiences and encouragement. We share the events of our lives as well. Many of us meet throughout the year for races and practice runs. The Cowbell clangs at mile 21 of marathons coast to coast.

Says Elephant: "You only get one chance to be a legacy".
